Reaching out can be the most challenging task to engage in. Constant changes and life transitions can leave us feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. Relationships can feel strained with our partners, friends, family and even ourselves. Creating space to navigate these life impacts is one way I seek to help clients.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and relationships and use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Emotion-focused therapy to help you process experiences to stabilize and help you reach your goals. I like to build of your natural strengths and help you evaluate needs and goals to work towards.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, phases of life and with various concerns such as anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and sexual behaviors. Areas I draw on in the therapy process are emotional awareness and communication. I strive to create a space that's welcoming, genuine, and authentic.
