Hey there, thanks for giving my page a look! I'm Eli, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor affiliated with Irenic Therapy, PLLC. Mental health care is difficult to find for anyone, and once you find a therapist you might like, that's only the first step in this scary process right? I've worked with people from all walks of life, ages and genders; from families, to couples and individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+/identity issues, behavioral struggles, trauma, relationship struggles, and more. I also have experience within the military community and am familiar with military struggles.
While I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues and folks that are teenage through college age, I welcome all into my therapeutic space that want to improve their lives. I aim to make therapy feel comfortable, by providing a safe space that's filled with empathy, honesty, a little tough love as needed and humor to get you through whatever brought you to therapy.
I pride myself in giving my clients a safe place to open up. I'm not the typical therapist that will just focus in on what's happening in the moment; I want to know who you are as a whole because all people are more than just whatever is ailing them at the moment.
