I recognize reaching out for help can be difficult and challenging. My aim is to help navigate those challenges and difficulties, by taking a strength-based, empowering, and person-centered approach that is collaborative and relational. At the heart of my approach is recognizing the sacredness of building a relationship through connection, trust, and openness. Regardless of the identified issue, depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, grief, relationship issues etc., I focus on helping you to build capacity and confidence to manage those issues so the no longer create significant impacts or consequences on your life.
I offer creating a safe space for exploration and helping to build insight while we navigate your journey together. I can operate from the more accepted models of therapy such as cognitive behavioral, but can also provide a decolonized approach that is indigenous practices, culture, and identity. I am here to provide whatever you connect with the most.
I see challenges and difficulties as way to deepen an understanding of oneself. Within that journey, experiences and feelings can be painful and overwhelming. That is difficult to navigate alone, but just by taking the time read this statement and researching where to find help, you have taken courageous and brave step! Let's take more together!
