I believe that my clients hold within themselves the key to healing and change, and it’s a privilege to collaborate with each of them in this process. It is important to me that each client feels seen and affirmed in the therapeutic relationship. It is also important that clients come to therapy ready to do the work required to bring about their own healing. I work with clients in the LGBTQIA2S+ community experiencing PTSD and trauma symptoms, religion and cult recovery, anxiety, OCD, phobias, shame, relationship challenges, and more. I also offer letter writing sessions for gender affirming procedures.
I specialize in treating trauma, OCD, and phobias. I use a mindfulness-based perspective and integrate tools from several modalities into my work including interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention and EMDR.
My goal is to develop safety and security in the therapeutic relationship so that we may safely work together to explore your struggles and work toward developing a greater skillset for navigating life’s challenges.
