We (Rashawn & Lori Brewster) offer a unique "couple to couple" counseling experience for relationships in all stages (dating, engaged, married, separated). Typical couples/marriage counseling is with 1 therapist but with Elevating Relationships you work with a married co-therapist team. We support relationship issues such as poor communication, harmful conflict cycle, loss of trust, feeling disconnected, and lackluster intimacy. We will partner with you to highlight the areas of your relationship that you’re not experiencing success in and provide research-based tools and guidance designed to cultivate an improved relationship.
Life can feel like a rollercoaster, full of its ups and downs, and the trick is in finding ways to navigate it together without flying off the track (and hopefully still liking each other throughout the ride). About 90% of our clinical focus is working with couples & helping them navigate the barriers to their goals. It's our area of passion and expertise!
We believe in the hopeful possibilities within relationships, the healing process when things are not going so well, and we understand the difficult impact of uncoupling on the individual and the extended family. Through our work, we hope to offer a safe and supportive space for couples as they experience the ups and downs of life and relationships.
