I view therapy as a dynamic and evolving relationship. During my 30+ years working with youth and families, I’ve found my approach should be as unique as you are. You can expect me to be interactive, honest, and caring. Still, I will comfortably challenge you to talk about those issues holding you back and interfering in healing and becoming the person you want to be.
I have life experience, but I also have worked with parents involved with the court, adoptive parents, adults and youth with ADHD, parenting skills, couples therapy, LGBTQ+, and caring for older/disabled parents or individuals. I hold a certification in advanced trauma therapy and EMDR.
I know it's not always easy to share your story, thoughts, and fears. But I'll listen, compassionately, to earn your trust and give you the freedom and comfort to gain insight and find your happiness.
