Elephant In The Room Counseling
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
A journey of one thousand miles begins with a single step. I am here to help you make that step and many more. I am willing to help you to know yourself, accept and appreciate yourself, guide you to improve your relationship with others, and support your ability to cope with stress and negative emotions. I believe through the treatment of Motivational Interviewing and Strength-based Approach, I can guide you to discover your own energy and fill the missing self. I am committed to understanding the pain, struggle, adaptability and brightness of my clients in a holistic environment through active listening and empathy.
I have worked in the community health field for more than 10 years. Throughout my training and career, I have worked with a variety of populations with depression and anxiety issues. I work with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, cultural issues, and other significant life stressors.
I am culturally sensitive and strive to provide a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space, help and guide my clients to get out their mental health struggles, alleviating the symptoms and enrich their lives and relationships.
