I believe in Irvin Yalom's saying, "Create a new therapy for each client." I will work hard to engage every client I encounter in creating a warm and caring relationship to get to positive change in their lives.
I use a feminist relational modality in my work. I also use skill work from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness work as needed. I have experience working with people dealing with the effects of chronic trauma, postpartum depression, parenting, and divorce
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
