I provide therapy and formal assessment for children and adults ages 5 and up. Areas of assessment include intellectual and learning abilities, memory, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and personality functioning. I am experienced in treating mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder), grief/loss, trauma, eating disorders among adults, personality dysfunction, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder.
My treatment approach is integrative with a foundation in existential psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also use skills and approaches from dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic theory. I adapt my therapeutic style to fit the needs/preferences of clients and view our sessions as teamwork.
A value for social justice underlies my focus in which individual differences are explored and appreciated. I also welcome the use of creative arts in sessions for those interested.
