My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and eclectic. I pull from various models.
Psychodynamic helps you gain insight of how past experiences, attachment, and core beliefs are making you feel stuck in your life. CBT/DBT and Mindfulness teaches new skills to tackle unhelpful thinking patterns, manage emotional distress and anxiety, build a healthier dialogue with yourself, sustain fulfilling relationships, and savor the present moment.
I am down to earth and compassionate in my approach, seeing the beauty and strength in each individual’s unique life journey and using this to uncover a path forward.
