Elena Morrison is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years’ experience working in the human services field. Elena has experience specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, chronic medical conditions as well as depression, anxiety, trauma and mood disorders. Elena treats patients between the ages of 12 and 90 utilizing Person Centered, Solution-Focused, Dialectical Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral in her approaches with clients. Elena has extensive experience counseling adolescents, adults and seniors in both clinical and outpatient settings.
Elena is a former Emergency Medical Technician and Emergency Services Mental Health Clinician with a passion for treating vicarious trauma. In her clinical work, Elena is well versed in both traditional therapeutic techniques as well as use of creative integration of relaxation strategies such as guided imagery throughout recommended treatment.
In her free time, Elena enjoys being outdoors with her friends and family fully embracing the New England seasons hiking, running, swimming and skiing whenever she can. She also enjoys reading, spontaneous travel and taking trips to the ocean. Elena has a Masters in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New England College.
