Have you ever just been laying in bed hiding from the world, driving to work fighting the dread, or sitting in a room full of people but feeling alone? Do you find yourself replaying a recent fight or picking apart every conversation? Maybe you’ve had a moment where you think: “I can’t keep doing this” or “I should talk to someone”. Maybe you’ve even tried therapy before, but the uber clinical, clipboard & a tie vibe just wasn’t for you. The people who reach me are typically anxious, overthinking, “black sheep” types who often feel a little different, misunderstood, or like they’re somehow too much and not enough at the same time.
Therapy with me is conversational & real. We’ll laugh, swear, cry, sit with the uncomfortable, & dig up what’s underneath it all. I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful, be honest with you, & personalize our work around you. I don’t think therapy needs to feel formal or scary to work. Sometimes it starts with finding someone you can actually be yourself with.
I currently offer a combo of virtual appts in Wisconsin & in person sessions in Appleton. Therapy is an investment but can still be accessible through insurance and our sliding scale. I am currently available Tues-Thurs for routine appointments. We are also growing and adding more clinicians! Feel free to reach out with questions or for a free consultation!
