I do this by using my knowledge of the brain and body to empower people to build self compassion, change their thought and behavior patterns, and build a balanced life.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been practicing since 2014. I combine Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Sensorimotor psychotherapy (a somatic based therapy) to support people impacted by life transitions, depression, anxiety, effects of past trauma, and challenges within interpersonal relationships.
One of the hardest parts of therapy is finding a therapist. The next is reaching out to them and starting the process. It takes bravery, trust, & vulnerability.
