A Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years in the behavioral and mental health field, I have experience providing behavior modification and mental health therapy services in a variety of settings including day treatment and residential treatment programs for at-risk youth, a non-profit community agency serving individuals with physical disabilities, and an outpatient mental health clinic serving children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to experience working with a diverse population of clients due to my work in various parts of the state including La Crosse, Green Bay, Janesville, Beloit, and Madison.

I specialize in providing care to people from diverse backgrounds with unique needs and struggles seeking Individual Counseling ages 18 +. My name is Patricia Aniakudo. I have over 30 years of experience in the field and am happy to walk with you on your path as you develop and meet your goals. A little bit about me; I have Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. I am accepting new clients. I have experience working in a variety of clinical settings treating both mental health and addiction issues simultaneously or separately. I offer court-ordered alcohol and drug assessments, DOT assessments as a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), as well as attorney-ordered assessments. I have been 8 years of clinical experience and specialize in forensic social work and extensive experience working with clients who have issues with addictions, depression, anxiety, and bipolar.

For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of counseling people of all ages and backgrounds that have struggled with anxiety, depression, marital conflict, family issues and academic concerns. After working as a therapist for the past 15 years (Seven years in private practice while living in Colorado), I’ve learned that I do my best clinical work with clients who appreciate structure within the therapy session; prefer a direct approach; demonstrate a readiness and commitment to making their mental health a priority; attend sessions on a regular basis and take action to practice new tools outside of therapy sessions.

My availability is evenings and weekends. Individuals who work Monday through Friday, and need help at a time that can be hard to find someone to connect with are a great fit for me. Gretchen Poellinger is a LPC-IT and works with adolescents, adults, and families. Gretchen received her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato in Mankato, Minnesota and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winona State University. Over the last 10 years, Gretchen has worked in a variety of settings in the social service field. She has direct experience working with individuals with varying challenges and has provided behavioral management and mental health services to adults, families, and children in the area.

Erica is a therapist's therapist. I work with the elements of nature to reveal the sources of discomfort, disharmony, and dis-ease that are often the source of pain, suffering, and trauma within a person, family, or ancestral lineage. I believe that a holistic approach is vital to true wellbeing and that healing occurs on multiple levels- emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. In addition to clinical experience, I lived in West Africa and after returning I apprenticed with Dagara Elder, Malidoma Somé.
