I have an eclectic therapeutic style but the primary theory that I draw experience and motivation with is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma Informed Care. Catie Cotter holds a license in clinical social work in the state of Virginia. She received her Master of Social Work from Radford University, and Bachelor of Social Work from King University. Catie enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Catie has experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and grief, as well as substance abuse issues (both individually and in group setting). Catie has a special interest in working with trauma related issues and often utilizes EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to assist with this.
