I treat clients who struggled with life experiences ranging from childhood trauma, abuse, family and relationship conflict, polyamorous relationships, kink, substance and alcohol use and abuse, etc. Clients may require live video sessions or telephone sessions to which I provide Monday through Friday from 8am to as late as 8pm some nights depending on client needs. I work to help clients create and achieve goals that focus on creating and maintaining a positive future. My clients want to live healthier lives with minimal experience with anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.

Vision is the capability of thinking or planning a path to one’s future using wisdom and positive imagination. Our vision is often clouded by many things. It can be clouded by memories of traumatic experiences, depressive negative cognitions/thoughts, the loss of loved ones or unexpected life changes. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and West Virginia. In addition, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I am a certified Addiction Counselor and a Substance Abuse Professional. I have over ten years of experience working with patients of all ages. My experiences have afforded me the opportunity to become skilled in offering a wide range of counseling services. Depression, anxiety, OCD, marriage and family, anger management, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, and addiction are some of those areas.

My colleagues and I at Advanced Practice Mental Health are focused on providing quality counseling services in the Loris and Myrtle Beach areas.I work with a variety of ages, cultures, genders, and sexual orientations. I find that by working with parents we can improve a child’s behavior and promote a happy family. I have a passion for working with young ladies and women who struggle with self-confidence, relationships, and making positive life decisions. I also work with those struggling with grief and loss. I focus on empowering my clients to make positive decisions for themselves, and to learn to cope with adversity on their own.

I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychological science and eventually become a private provider. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Supervisor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in the State of South Carolina, I am committed to the well-being of all people I serve. Thrive Family Services LLC is a group practice with 3 offices in York County: Clover, Fort Mill and Rock Hill. Thrive is a therapy practice specializing in a variety of therapeutic approaches to give individuals, couples, and families the tools to achieve their best mental and behavioral health. Thrives Counselors are all unique! We have a wide range of counselors with different specialties and approaches to treatment. We are offering both in office and teletherapy services. Our Rock Hill location has immediate openings. We provide outpatient therapy and medication management.
