Amy Vaccaro is Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master's degree in Social Services from the Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research in 1997. She has been providing behavioral health services for over 30 years including 25 years as a practicing psychotherapist. Amy primarily works with adults experiencing anxiety, and depression utilizing a psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral approach. Amy also has an interest working with individuals 65 years and older, and their families, who are experiencing life change issues and challenges.

I treat depression, anxiety, and other conditions which may arise from job, relationship, family, or loss of a loved one. If you are suffering more acutely, say with panic or trauma, I rely on my specialty Internal Family Systems, which provides blessed relief. Trauma can result from even a car accident or a hospital procedure. Trauma can cause eating disorders, drug addiction, gambling, OCD, panic, and more. Even failed relationships can be a result of trauma. All these can be treated successfully.

My goal is to help you to make positive changes: Maybe you want some help coping with a difficult situation; maybe you just need to untangle and smooth out knotted and frayed emotions; or maybe you've been diagnosed with some sort of medical or psychiatric condition that creates problems for you-I'm here to listen and to talk, to nudge and to cheer-lead as you move forward. I have worked as a therapist for over fourteen years with children and adolescents specifically with a focus on finding ways to combat symptoms of ADHD , depression and anxiety. I have also worked with the adult population for several years and have been successful in guiding them in taking significant steps towards overcoming depression, anxiety and mending issues in their relationships and helping them make changes in their family or work environments.

Douglas Achtert is a licensed clinical social worker and received their Master's in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 2011. Doug sees adolescents, adults, and couples. They are an empowered meditation teacher in the Theravadan tradition and incorporate this background using a mindfulness based cognitive therapy approach towards clients with depression, grief, substance use issues, anxiety, or bipolar. Doug also utilizes the mind body connection and awareness to help with growth and meeting goals in all aspects of life.
