My clinical work is focused on improving life skills, promoting personal growth, and working towards more fulfilling relationships. As a therapist, I want to support clients in achieving their goals when they enter therapy, or help them discover and set goals they want to achieve. I focus on educating and helping people gain insight and solutions into individual, and family problems and to be a safe person to explore painful feelings helping to resolve problems.

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. AUDIO & VIDEO TELETHERAPY. I use an Integrated Holistic Mind - Body Approach with Neurocounseling, Positive Psychology, Neurotherapy bio-feedback, etc.. I work with clients to create individualized treatment action plans to resolve difficulties, address challenges, and focus on achieving goals. I specialize in Relationships, Communication Skills; Anxiety / Stress; Life Direction & Career, Transition & Management; Trauma; Depression; Grief & Loss. I assist in gaining knowledge & answers, forming new behaviors, overcoming barriers, support healing & development, and help in creating positive relationships.

I provide short-term couples counseling/coaching for dating, cohabiting, engaged, married and blended marriage couples of all ages. Couples with children get the help they need on their parenting issues. Appointments: first appointment is 2.5 hours ($175); subsequent appointments are 1.5 hours ($150) Additionally, I offer my skills as a trained mediator to help individuals and/or groups resolve their conflicts. ($200 per 2.0 hour appointment.)

Practice is FULL at this time. Corvallis Counseling serves children and adult clients. I also provide Clinical Supervision Services for those working towards Clinical Licensure.

I love my work. I enjoy helping people change their lives and become happier and more peaceful. I admire the courage and enthusiasm of my clients, and their willingness to do things differently to be happy and gain more satisfaction from their lives. I do three things in my private practice: 1) General counseling for the "worried well." * 2) Mental Training and peak performance consultation/coaching for athletes of all ages, as well as performers and business people. 3) Coach the "Spirited Walkers" marathon training group (an 8 month program to coach and train people to walk the Eugene and Portland Half/Full marathons.

I moved to Corvallis from NYC in 2013. While in New York I trained at the Albert Ellis Institute in Manhattan where I gained expertise treating anxiety, depression, and stress reduction in adults and adolescents using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I received my PhD from Yeshiva University - Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NYC, and I received my M.S. in counseling psychology from Loyola University, where my area of clinical focus was in the treatment of PTSD and anxiety.

I focus on helping people change unhappy patterns in their lives and find relief from suffering. I primarily utilize a psychodynamic approach which means helping clients gain insight into the dynamics of maladaptive patterns that have evolved in their lives. Gaining insight is often the first step, or the foundation, of positive change.
