I attended Adelphi University for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi. Since graduation, I have worked as a clinial psychotherapist providing individual therapy to seniors, adults, adolescents and children. I specialize in treating clients, who suffer from anxiety, depression, panic disorders, and phobias. I have developed an eclectic therapeutic treatment approach. However, my individual approach gravitates towards cognitive behavior theory. My work with clients focuses on their realization that their various disorders stem from their erroneous beliefs about themselves.

My name is Stephanie and i'm the proud owner of Live, Love, Loud Mental Health Counseling PLLC. We work with adults and seniors, individuals, couples, families and groups struggling with anxiety, depression, and identity issues. We help by allowing you to tell your story, tap into your individual strengths to facilitate healing, achieve greater emotional intelligence, develop healthier communication styles and overcome your life challenges. Within a Strength-based, Client-centered environment, we utilize an eclectic approach using elements of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology

All of us have the "tools" within us to help ourselves. As a psychotherapist, I will help you find those inner "tools" and we will use them to guide you through emotional difficulties, relationship issues and many of the other challenges we face in life.

Through out my experiences with different client populations with unique life challenges I have come to appreciate emotional turmoil and addictive behaviors and to understand where these problems originate. I have learned to appreciate that what the individual needs is a non judgmental environment where he or she can identify the path to a healthy life and hope.
