Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I'm a trans, queer, Mexican-American therapist who works from an attuned, responsive, and relationship oriented approach. As all of us have a tendency to get lost in a narrative or storyline, I invite clients to slow down with me and get intimate with their direct experience—the raging emotions in the body, the coming and going of thoughts, the feeling of shaky vulnerability, the rage, the loneliness—honoring it all and creating a safe holding space for these lost emotions, perhaps for the first time ever. I have been in the mental health field for five years with a master’s in mental health counseling and, currently, obtaining my doctorate in counselor education. I have worked with a plethora of symptomatic presentations, but my specialties lie in cutting-edge practices of chronic pain and mind-body disorders, sexual disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Prior experience in domestic violence and sexual assault crisis counseling, along with community advocacy for mental health services. I view health holistically: mind, body, and spirit.
