I consider myself to be a generalist who uses a psychodynamic approach to treat the underlying issues of a variety of presenting problems. I am frank, non-judgmental and caring, and I will provide you with psychological analysis and tools to assist you in gaining insight, expressing your feelings appropriately, improving the level of intimacy in your relationships, and becoming the best version of yourself. To this end, in addition to individual therapy, I also offer group therapy to increase social self-esteem, improve assertiveness, enhance the capacity for intimacy, and gain insight into how you are experienced by others.

Moira has been working with adolescents, adults, and their families in a private school for Twice Exceptional students in New York City for the past 8 years. Moira began her work as a Psychosocial Teacher, spending time in the classroom with the students building deeper connections, helping students with crisis management, emotional regulation, behavior management and executive functioning skills.
