Which treatment approach I use will vary depending on what you need or seek. I have a background in both physical health and health psychology, and my approach to mental health treatment stems from a holistic perspective that includes mind, body and spirit. Some of the modalities I utilize include IFS, EMDR, CBT, expressive arts and somatic based therapies.

Working with anxious and depressed clients, focusing on understanding their individual culture, how they interpret the world. It is important to understand what is missing in a coping system, this is where the work leads us.

I am a firm believer in collaboration, transparency, and authenticity in my work as a therapist. I have experience working with children 4+, adolescents, adults, family and group work. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, compassionate, and collaborative space where we can work together to explore issues that are troubling you.

As a Cultural Psychologist and a Licensed Counselor, I have provided psychotherapy services to a wide range of clients for over 18 years. I specialize in seeing a client's strengths. I offer Online Therapy. I have worked in community mental health centers, school counseling and private practice in California, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I provide a safe space to treat various issues for adults 18 and over via videoconference. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, yet incorporate other approaches depending on my clients needs. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who offers traditional talk therapy and art therapy. My philosophy and therapeutic approach embraces the creative process. I believe that the human spirit is inspired and healed by nature. This approach can be transformative for individuals.

Clients between the ages of 6 to 26 all and their families. My specialties include skill building to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, anger management, emotional regulation, bullying, relationship issues, and other mental health symptoms. I love working with children of blended families, those going through divorce, and individuals who have experienced loss. I have found success building rapport by incorporating elements of pop culture, video games, board games, Legos, & movies. I utilize various expressive art modalities to help them express themselves. I believe there is no “One size fits all” with treatment.

I work with people on a variety of issues, typically those struggling with anxiety/depression, stress management, substance use and addiction. There are moments in our lives that feel extra stressful or overwhelming and this is perhaps more true today given these especially challenging times.
