I offer a safe space with judgement-free listening, compassion, humor and empathy to assist you on your personal journey of health and wellness. Which treatment approach I use will vary depending on what you need or seek. I have a background in both physical health and health psychology, and my approach to mental health treatment stems from a holistic perspective that includes mind, body and spirit. Some of the modalities I utilize include IFS, EMDR, CBT, expressive arts and somatic based therapies.

Working with anxious and depressed clients, focusing on understanding their individual culture, how they interpret the world. It is important to understand what is missing in a coping system, this is where the work leads us.

If you are going through something and need some support, it would be my honor to try to help you out. What you might face now may have something to do with the past, and may also impact the future for the worse if something isn't done now, in the present. I would enjoy working with you to consider the past and future while also focusing on the present as much as possible in order to glean what is most within your control, what are your resources and options, your abilities and limitations, how do we honor and validate these while also encouraging some change, and how do we tolerate what is outside of our control, etc.

With multiple clinicians and areas of expertise, we are able to offer comprehensive, specialized services for adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. It is common for those new to therapy to feel both eager to get going and uncomfortable about starting the process of therapy. I believe that in our current healthcare climate the most frustrating and discouraging issue for patients is feeling unheard, unseen, judged, marginalized or placed in a “one-size fits all” treatment box. I am passionate about providing personalized medical services and addressing each one of my patients’ individual values and unique medical needs. My goal is to bring a kind, approachable and responsive style to every visit and interaction. I use a functional medicine perspective to address the root cause of symptoms including gut health, sleep, diet, stress, hormones, thyroid function, toxins, genetics and nutritional supplements.

Life is hard. It did not come with a manual so we would know what to do when we are struggling. Knowing that there are people out there that can help is what makes therapy so important. I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals, professionals, and families to address different mental health illnesses for the past five years. I believe that the best kind of therapy is one in which I work with you to identify your goals in life, utilize your strengths, and come up with a plan to make your best self a reality.
