I offer Online Therapy. I have worked in community mental health centers, school counseling and private practice in California, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I provide a safe space to treat various issues for adults 18 and over via videoconference. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, yet incorporate other approaches depending on my clients needs. I view therapy as a collaborative experience with my clients whom I walk beside and support during our process together. I assist my clients to focus on their personal therapy goals and provide the tools and encouragement to facilitate positive change and personal empowerment.

I hold mental health counselor licenses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I bring extensive experience working with veterans, individuals in the Fire Service, and those dealing with PTSD. Additionally, I possess specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). One notable feature of ART is that clients can substitute their negative images with positive ones without the necessity of discussing the specifics of their trauma with the therapist. ART operates as a procedural, yet creative, approach, where the client maintains significant control over the process, with the ART Therapist serving as a supportive guide.

Over the past 15 years, I've had the opportunity to practice in a variety of settings and in the presence of clients from all walks of life. My primary educational focus has been on understanding the importance of integrating holistic theory into the realm of counseling and I've found great success in exploring this avenue of therapy with my clients.

I come to my work as a therapist from backgrounds as an artist, hospital oncology chaplain, art professor and activist, meditation teacher, lover of movement, backpacker Dharma bum, essayist, companion of rescue pups, and former Buddhist nun. I've been around the block, tried many things, succeeded and failed, and carried my heart through many of this world's wild, beautiful, boring, terrible, sacred spaces. All of which feels relevant to working with clients who dare to trust their creative and intuitive processes as they come into fierce, tender, inalienable wholeness.

I am a certified sex therapist who is licensed in NH, ME, and MA, and specialize in therapies for individuals and couples that are dealing with issues that inhibit future growth and happiness. As the author of Couples by Intention: Creating and Cultivating Relationships That Matter!, specialties include sex/intimacy, infidelity recovery, infertility, Surrogacy/Adoption, life transitions/personal growth, men's issues, and sexual minorities' concerns. My approach is solution focused, varied and includes a strength based perspective. Narrative therapy, CBT and interpersonal methods are often used.
