Dr. Koehn uses a holistic/systems approach to therapy. He incorporates the influence and support of family structure, school and work environment, as well as community when building a positive-wellness treatment plan Stylistically, Dr. Koehn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), structural family therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into interventions. Dr. Koehn also has extensive experience providing school and organizational psychology services. His therapy practice includes: eating disorders, marriage counseling, stress reduction, addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorders and anger management. Helping others has always been a big part of my life. As a licensed clinical psychologist my goal is facilitating the growth of my clients through accurate assessment and therapeutic care of their personal concerns. I have always wanted to help people. I’ve been able to do that in a variety of ways over the years. Working in domestic violence shelters, agencies that assist child sexual abuse survivors, in-home intensive substance abuse counseling...I’m privileged to have been able to help so many. It truly makes me happy. Now, I have my own practice after all of these years and I couldn’t be more excited to continue helping people; just in a much more enjoyable and comfortable setting. Gulf Coast Psychology is a multidisciplinary mental health practice that is based in Fort Myers, FL. Dr. Capozzoli provides an array of psychological, educational, vocational and forensic services for children, adolescents and adults. As a good listener I have strong empathetic skills. I provide a warm, accepting and non-judgmental setting where a positive alliance can be formed.
