I see my job as providing my client with a safe and supportive place for them to discover their own strengths. I use stories and metaphors in therapy to help the client discover deeper truths. I also use techniques from a counseling theory called Internal Family Systems and have had much success with it. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, addiction and especially trauma.

I am passionate about supporting all stages of life. I am a birth and death doula with years of experience in the medical field supporting people through grief, infant loss, medical trauma, new diagnoses or end of life care. I feel privileged to witness the vulnerability of the postpartum period and love supporting parents through normal ups and downs or postpartum depression and mood disorders. Other experience includes adoption and foster care, working with people living with HIV, people who use drugs and survivors of sexual violence.
