A hopeless geek, she enjoys all things science fiction and fantasy with a particular love for Star Trek and the Marvel Universe. She has many hobbies including reading, roller derby, cat rescue and crafts. She also loves exploring the Alaskan outdoors with her husband and their blended family of 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Professionally, she has been a counselor for 13 years and has been doing EMDR for 5 years. Her goal is helping clients overcome the barriers that keep them from living full and authentic lives.

Hello. I have a strong pull towards attachment-based and strength-based approach to therapy. I build upon this foundation with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting (BSP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) as primary approaches, seeking to support insight and growth in clients who experience depression, dissociation, distress arising from trauma, attachment issues, and/or anxiety.

As a Therapist, I specialize in ILF Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a noninvasive brain training method that does not involve "traditional talk therapy." Neurofeedback works by training your brain like a personal trainer at the gym. EEG Biofeedback has been around for over 40 years. It was originally used to help epilepsy and has now advanced to help a multitude of issues from PTST, Autism, ADHD, Migraines, and more. I have trained both in Europe and in the USA. What I love about Neurofeedback is it offers another and different method in helping us with our own issues.
