I believe therapy is a process helps people to fully participate in their lives. I use several therapeutic styles and a collaborative approach. Together, we identify "the problem," then explore obstacles that block the process. The goal is wholeness and healing and you, as the client, decide what that looks like. Building a safe, respectful and trusting relationship is essential for success ---- as the client defines "success." I also believe that even in the most dire of circumstances, we can find joy, hope and even laughter. I enjoy playing a part in that with my clients.

She is Texas-Board-Approved Licensed Psychotherapist and Supervisor, Nationally and Internationally Certified and Registered Psychotherapist, an EMDR trained counselor, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) trained therapist. She is also a registered Heal Your Life Workshop Leader and a Certified Life Coach. She has been in private practice for more than 19 years, specializing in helping adult women, men and couples.

Counseling, psychology, mental health, and hypnosis have ignited my passion to work with individuals and families long ago. I enjoy working with individuals who have temporary lost their way, lost joy in life, and might be struggling with anxiety, chronic illness, pain or upcoming surgeries, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, or mental blocks. One of my specialties includes working with musicians, artists, writers, and other professions in the entertainment industry. Additionally, I enjoy exploring multicultural issues with immigrants, trauma work with any individuals, and guiding individuals through life transitions.

My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help my clients develop knowledge and tools that will facilitate sustained growth long after therapy has ended.

Hello! My name is Leah and I use she/her pronouns. I’ve been a practicing clinical social worker for over 10 years. I would describe my therapeutic approach as warm and collaborative with a focus on building safe and inclusive spaces that encourage curiosity, creativity, and insight. I believe in the importance of choice to establish a foundation on which clients can engage in therapy as their authentic selves and I value humor and transparency along the way.

Intuitive psychotherapy is where the therapist uses their own intuition in the healing process. Clients also learn how to develop and trust their intuition through specialized somatic and inner child work interventions.

I view therapy as a deeply transformative experience where people may discover more of who they are and ultimately find a greater sense of peace. Our suffering is often a result of a complex set of circumstances involving our sense of self, our relationships with others, our thoughts, and our feelings. We are a group therapy practice who works with adolescents, young adults, as well as adult populations. We provide individual, group, and family therapy. We work with clients to help them achieve a greater sense of awareness so that they may identify patterns and behaviors that interfere with living the life they want. We work with clients who tend to struggle with negative self-talk, which can manifest for some as disordered eating or a lack of self-compassion. We work with clients to understand and improve these parts of themselves. We also strive to instill a sense of hope, as we think this an important part of the process.
