I help people who are feeling depressed, feel less depressed. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to feel stuck in depression. Are you having trouble sleeping, eating too little, or too much? Hiding how you really feel inside, not wanting others to know? Others say you have so much to be thankful for, but you just feel guilty and ashamed that you’re not able to feel that way; forcing a smile, but not feeling it inside? There is always a reason for the way we feel, and I can help you figure out what is really going on inside of you. Together we can figure out some ways to help you feel relief.

In my work with couples and families, I provide a warm, non-judgmental presence to help you share your story, make discoveries, and meet your goals. I have a particular passion for helping couples, and I also work with individuals of all ages. I see family members as part of a connected system, and I honor each person's need for belonging and independence within their closest relationships. My background in education and love for the natural world shape my connection with clients.

I'm an attachment-focused and trauma-informed psychotherapist with a curious mind, open heart, and hearty sense of humor. I believe that therapy should feel nourishing and meaningful - and the effects should be transformative. As a Narrative, Mindfulness, Sandtray, and IFS trained therapist, I helps clients “re-author” their lives — often using experiential and expressive arts activities or guided ‘parts’ exercises in order to make space for new ways of thinking and understanding.

My practice is currently full. Please email me if you are interested in beginning services in June/July. I love working with people who are seeking growth and self-understanding. Therapy is hard work. It pushes us to see things in new ways and to explore feelings and behavior patterns. And, hopefully, it leads to feeling healthier and more connected to ourselves, our needs, and in our relationships. I approach therapy from a holistic and integrative perspective--I believe well-being is influenced and impacted by many factors including physical health, genetics, personality, and life experiences.

There are many approaches to addressing the state of life we find ourselves living in. I practice holistic integrative care that addresses the whole person - mind, body, spirit. Healing is a journey, in which I offer support by creating, establishing and maintaining open and direct relationships with clients. My goal is to assist in bringing balance, and restoring energy and passions through traditional therapies or energy based interventions. My focus is to help individuals, couples and families acknowledge the strengths they have and to bring relief to defeating beliefs and behaviors.
