My career in counseling started with inpatient stabilization and treatment settings treating all ages in both mental health and addiction. Apryl is a compassion-centered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who is committed to aiding couples, families and individuals in their pursuit of peace, joy, and purpose. Her interests encompass guiding couples through amicable separations, nurturing strong co-parenting relationships, gentle parenting and assisting couples in creating a harmonious and romantic balance within their marital dynamics. Apryl is also passionate about providing support to families and individuals challenged by chronic illness, in particular Type 1 Diabetes.

I enjoy working with both couples and individuals. Couples therapy can consist of troubles with communication, sex therapy concerns such as education, dysfunctions, lack of desire/interest, pain in sexual activity, medication side effects, and anxiety/depression related to sexual issues, post-affair recovery, and relationship conflict across the lifespan. I also work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relational problems, including family systems. Starting this journey can feel awkward at first, but I am here to provide a safe environment for you to process and address a variety of your concerns.
