Hi, I'm Dr. Hopkins! I know life can be hard sometimes and we are not always prepared for the unexpected bumps in the road. Sometimes we don't get through one problem or situation before we are forced to face yet another crisis. Many of my clients have been older teens, adults and seniors struggling with un-resolved issues from their past, unforgiveness, anxiety, anger, self esteem issues, relational issues, the weight/stress of becoming caretakers for their loved ones, work stressors, adjustment issues etc. In a non-judgmental way, I am ready to serve and encourage you to move forward in the most supportive way possible.

Sometimes you just need a safe place to land. Sometimes the activity and busyness in our daily lives are poor substitutions for intimate connections. Intimacy in relationships are the balm to our hurting hearts. Relationships are the sutures to our open wounds. "Worried Well" describes those who are dealing with life the best they can in spite of anxious thoughts, depressed moods, overwhelming stress, or grieving. Juggling demands of work and home, struggling with relationships or divorce or a loved one's addiction, or experiencing significant losses can make anyone doubt life will get better. Some feel guilty or selfish for experiencing these thoughts and feelings. Many question God or harbor anger and resentment toward others. Some are simply numb and can no longer find joy in the journey. You are not alone!

Whether it be depression, anxiety, grief, trauma or something that is unable to be categorized, I am here to walk with you through this journey. My approach is to work myself out of a job with each individual person. Realizing each person is unique and is more than a diagnosis.
