Existential therapy believes that although humans are essentially alone in the world, they long to be connected with themselves and others. I seek to avoid using models that may label people. Truth is discovered subjectively, by each individual. My practice is often, directly aimed at collaboratively making sense of one's experience(s) in order to forge new meanings and develop new identities. From a strengths based perspective, I collaborate with my clients to increase self-awareness and understanding in order to transform fragile or confusing relationships into ones that can be more clear, strong and connected.This includes a specialty in working with couples.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in practice for over 25 years. Currently, my practice is dedicated to neurofeedback. Years of working as a therapist inform my work and lead to a deep understanding of various diagnoses, symptoms and how these impact people's lives.

My work is based in Cognitive-Behavioral psychotherapy, with a wide variety of experiential techniques tailored to the needs of individual clients. I infuse this work with Mindfulness concepts and practices when appropriate to the client's needs. I enjoy my work tremendously, and have a very strong belief that anyone can learn to be comfortable in their own skin, and create a meaningful and fulfilling life for themselves.

Each person experiences mental distress uniquely. My aim is to partner with my client to ensure their safety in our shared space, create a bond of trust, and then dive into problems and solutions. Whether one experiences identity- or event-based problems and whether those are caused by individual development or social conditions, I strongly believe in the innate ability of trusting partnerships to overcome the troubles in our lives. If I'm not the right therapist for a person, I will work hard to keep them safe until they decide how to move forward.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing as a therapist since 2015. I currently work in private practice with Insight Therapeutic Services. I have served in a variety of settings including non profit agencies, inpatient and residential treatment, crisis intervention programs, school settings, as well as private practice. I am passionate about strengths-based, trauma-informed counseling for children, adolescents, and adults in a comfortable and welcoming private practice setting. my area of expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of substance abuse. I have worked in substance abuse settings since 1986 including detox ,and outpatient settings . I currently provide counseling required by Project Crash to assist clients in regaining their license after a DWI offense and also provide evaluation for the office of professional regulation. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families who are dealing with addiction issues.I also have a degree in theology and enjoy discussing how one's faith can be used in dealing with life's issues.

I also have limited openings for couples' workshops or intensives, or those interested in holistic healing retreats. I help clients with deepening their understanding of themselves and their patterns. I offer guidance and support with relational issues, anxiety, personal transitions, and suppressed creativity & vitality. While working together, we may focus on thought processes, feelings and mindfulness, in order to support positive relationships, emotional health, and increased awareness & empowerment.
