I have helped people for over 20 years in Behavioral Health to deal with conditions including: depression, anxiety, and other disorders These can be debilitating to both the individual going through them as well as to family and friends. Therefore, I mobilize my extensive resource base and encourage the involvement of support systems when treating an individual, couple, or family system.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other therapies, I help individuals and couples understand and manage their difficulties to improve their well being. In my experience, people are seeking relief, hoping for life improvement. They want to feel better quickly. My approach is practical and present-focused.
I attempt to take into account the stress of everyday life and offer flexibility with scheduling as I can - some early evenings or weekend appointments. Limited home visits for home-bound individuals. I will work with you to develop treatments suitable for your lifestyle. I look forward to helping make your life more meaningful.
