Hi, there! I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who enjoys working with kiddos as young as 6-years-old up to adults and families. I have experience in working with children and individuals with concerns such as: men's issues, general anxiety and more complex anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem building, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. I am particularly passionate about working with and empowering fellow Latino individuals. I offer services fluently in both English and Spanish.
I employ a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychoanalytic Therapy. My priority as a therapist is to ensure client comfort and safety. I believe in the importance of establishing and maintaining a healthy bond with my clients, ensuring that they feel secure, confident, and embraced every step of the way to healing.
My personal philosophy as a therapist is that life is not exclusively black or white, rather gray. Thoughts or feelings can be conflicting and overlapping, but I seek to help my clients reconcile with these gray areas. My style is attentive, gentle and warm. I approach client concerns with curiosity and non-judgement.
