Elana Kupor
Counselor, LMHC
We all want to feel valued, and to work, play, and love well. Many of us get frustrated and confused when we feel blocked in one or more of these areas. My role as a therapist is to help you build awareness about what is keeping you stuck, and to open new perspectives and possibilities in your life. I work with adults on a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, food and body issues, and life transitions.
I also specialize in working with couples. I have completed a 2 year training with Dr. Stan Tatkin in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy, or PACT. This is a very engaging, interactive approach which focuses on building the couple's ability to emotionally regulate their relationship.
My personal experiences have taught me the difficulty of facing feelings such as shame and disconnection, and the importance of moving forward with the support of others. I look forward to being helpful to you as you bring more clarity and purpose to your life.
