Support Group for Spouses/Partners of Sex Addicts
Spouses and partners of sex addicts are burdened with feelings of anger, shame, confusion, and isolation as a result of betrayal of trust. Hyper-vigilance, anxiety, and post traumatic stress symptoms are common among those who have discovered their partners' sexually addictive behaviors. This group offers support, healing, and hope to spouses and partners of sex addicts. Participants will gain understanding of this disease, receive help with picking up the pieces in the aftermath of the discovery/disclosure, and restore overall balance in their lives and relationships.
