I am a holistic, certified, master's social worker who specializes in inter-generational issues; women's issues; anxiety/depression disorders; and, helping clients manage invisible, chronic and terminal illnesses, including associated grief and losses. I also work with parenting grandparents and the grandchildren they are raising. My treatment approach with them is reflected in my book, The Sacred Work of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.
While I have been trained in traditional psychotherapy and group work, I blend a lot of holistic approaches utilizing the client's natural healing abilities such as breath work, guided imagery, and hypnotherapy. I believe my client is their own healer and I facilitate and support their insights & growth.
My client's tell me I have a very 'common sense' approach and they are inspired to know the solution to their problem(s) resides within them. Our work together is about building self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-confidence so that you can manifest your full potential and create the life you desire.
