I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Transition Specialist with over 20 years of experience working as a counselor, focused on mental health counseling, rehabilitation counseling, and transition planning for transition-age youth. I have provided counseling services to individuals and families coping with depression, anxiety, thought disorders, ADHD, and OCD. I believe the foundation of therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship that is developed and grounded in respect, and compassion and is genuine. My approach combines person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
