Transitions of all kinds can be SCARY and HARD, and may leave one stuck in a place of powerlessness and frustration. Living and getting through each day may be PAINFUL - whether because of isolation or too much togetherness and conflict (or both!). Struggles make hearing others and feeling heard more difficult. Managing our feelings and relationships is easier "wished" for than accomplished. I can help you choose the right words, figure out where you are in life and relationships, and find your way through difficult times.
I see each client as an individual, as a whole person, not just as the sum of traits, experiences, struggles and strengths. Who you are influences what you need from counseling, and our work together will be guided by your unique and specific hopes and goals.
