God called me Ekiuwa Tyrene Norelus, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with the State of Florida who is a Board Certified Psychotherapist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Grief Counselor, Certified in Elderly Care and Treatment and Certified Crisis Responder. My specialty includes but is not limited to providing individual therapy, family therapy, pre-marital/couples therapy, culturally competent care, crisis counseling, clinical supervision, and consultations. I am an expert in the treatment of children and families, adults, the elderly, veterans, and court-ordered individuals.
Working and treating a diversified group of people is my passion. Helping people reach their full potential no matter what a person may be going through my skills and experience have been known to empower/motivate people to achieve and reach their full potential. I provide mental health services in my office, in schools, in homes and within the community.

The first group will ask each group member to identify themselves (each members name, are they in a relationship and what is their definition of a relationship. The second group will be an introduction of the definition of a healthy relationship versus unhealthy relationship from the perspective of all group members. The group will discuss in detail the power and control wheel for domestic violence. The next step will be discussing how to leave an unhealthy relationship by developing a safety plan and how to maintain a healthy relationship.

Recovering from Post-Partum Depression

Definition of Post-Partum Depression is discussed. Each mother discusses her experiences and challenges with caring for her baby or babies. Caring for her baby will be discussed by each mother. Developing a support network with the mothers in the group will be encouraged. Each mother will discuss how they are coping; what works and what does not work, who to call, who can you depend on. Issues of trusting others and depending on others will be discussed during the group. Self-care strategies will be provided to the mothers. Each mother will be assisted in creating a postpartum plan.
