My Name is Ekaterini Angelis and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I work with clients statewide via telehealth in California and Missouri. I primarily work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, complex trauma, domestic violence, relationship conflict, self-esteem, grief & loss, perfectionism, adult children of narcissistic parents, spiritual abuse, and religious trauma.
I utilize a humanistic approach and incorporate family systems as well as cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients better understand themselves. I work with clients to collaboratively and problem-solve tools to make positive change. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilize a trauma-informed approach when appropriate.
I find that I work well with clients who have had relational trauma that affects their current relationships with themselves and others. This can often present in the form of negative self-talk and self-esteem, perfectionism, persistent feelings of guilt and shame, anxiety, and depression.
