I work best with people who understand intellectually that what they're doing isn't working but can’t seem to change emotionally or behaviorally. I'm a borderline personality disorder specialist and also work with ADHD, anxiety, and personality-related challenges.
My approach is direct and practical. We'll work together to understand what’s driving the patterns, build skills, and create sustainable change. Therapy is about learning how to move through life with greater flexibility, self-awareness, and confidence.
I take this work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously. Therapy can be heavy, and humor is part of being human. There will be hard conversations, but there will probably be laughter too. I’ll ask questions, challenge you when needed, and help you understand why you do what you do through cognitive/dialectical behavior therapy and part-work.
I don’t believe everything needs to be overanalyzed or pathologized. Sometimes we just need support, accountability, perspective, and to feel genuinely understood. Therapy isn't easy and you might sometimes wonder why you agreed to it, but you deserve to create a life worth living and I'd be glad to work with you.
