Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile page. My focus as a therapist is to help individuals improve the quality of their lives. Each one of us has our own life path, and I am here to help you explore your path and make positive changes. I envision our work as empowering and leading you to a healthier and more fulfilling life. We all experience times in our lives that feel difficult, perhaps even impossible. During those times, we may feel that we have no one we can talk to or who understands how we are feeling, and it is then we choose to seek out therapy.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and respectful, and my client and I work as a team to reduce symptoms and build on your strengths to address and transform problems, and move towards healing. I use an integrative style, which addresses all aspects of the person: emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual.
I am well-versed in a wide variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT and DBT, as well as Humanistic and Jungian approaches. Art and theatre have been life-long interests for me, and as a result I believe in the importance of tapping into our creativity for healing, and I bring that spirit of creativity into my therapy practice.
