My style is characterized by warmth, humor, and empathic directness. I focus on reparation using a relational, developmental, and trauma-focused lens. I have advanced training in EMDR, pediatrics, young adult, and couples/family intervention.
I am a neurodiversity affirming clinician with extensive experience using relational and CBT strategies for individuals of all ages who identify as Autistic/AuDHD/ADHD. I guide neurodiverse folk towards understanding their internal and emotional world, developing sensory and emotional coping skills, becoming a self-advocate, and communicating in a way that establishes strong relationships.
I help children and their families thrive. I actively include parents via consultation, dyadic play for small children, and parent/sibling intervention. I am trained in the SPACE model for anxious children and young adults who are struggling to launch. My empathic irreverence also engages adolescents in therapy, a group that is notoriously tough to reach.
The relational, educational, identity, and family challenges that come with adolescence have also led to expertise in helping young adults transition to college and independent living.
I am fully trained in the use of EMDR as a powerful method to catalyze trauma, inclusive of grief, abuse, infertility and pregnancy loss, divorce, and medical trauma.
