I received my bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and my master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I have a passion for connecting with individuals on an emotional level and taking an eclectic approach that is best suited to your unique wants and needs. I work with adults and military veterans coping with depression, anxiety, substance use, and PTSD.
My therapeutic orientation combines elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness meditation. I am fluent in Spanish and offer services in this language.
As a Hispanic provider, I am driven and motivated to work within the context of my clients' ethnic backgrounds as they align with their treatment goals.
