I belong to many of the communities that I serve, and I strive to provide a non-judgmental space, while also challenging rigid thinking patterns.
My therapeutic approach is deeply guided by each client’s unique life experiences. I integrate relational attachment theory and work primarily from an emotion-focused perspective. I also draw on techniques from Gottman therapy and incorporate a goal-oriented framework, helping clients clearly identify and work toward the changes they want to see.
I strive to create a space that is grounded in empathy, respect, and authentic connection, while also encouraging clients to both explore and engage in meaningful challenge. I recognize and affirm the impact of traumatic experiences, inequity, oppression, marginalization, and other forms of discrimination, and I integrate this awareness into my work.
