About
I am a certified psychoanalyst and I work exclusively with individuals wanting long-term treatment to address lifelong suffering. I offer both contemporary psychoanalysis and embodied psychotherapy, as appropriate, to address mind, body, and emotional issues that continue impact your current life and relationships. This approach is designed to expand treatment beyond short-lived symptom relief into transforming the actual origins of your issues, symptoms, and daily suffering. You can learn more about me and the ways I practice by visiting my website: www.edwardnovak.com
I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship & sexual issues, trauma & abuse. I help individuals with embodied traumas reclaim their stolen bodies. My therapeutic approaches are based on current theories, and I have published many articles on these issues, including a 2022 book on my model of body trauma therapy, available at routledge.com & Amazon.
My office is private and confidential. I often seek, and provide, confidential, case consultation within my national network of colleagues. Collectively, our knowledge base is extensive. These consultations are another way I make sure I am meeting the therapeutic needs of my patients.
