About
My aim is to provide highest quality and evidence-based treatment to children, young adults, and families across a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Common challenges that I treat include depression, anxiety, anger/stress management, ADHD, coping skills, parent-child conflict, sibling conflict, adjustment difficulties, school-related challenges, and more. I offer a dedicated and individually tailored approach that eclectically embodies techniques consistent with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Behavioral Parent Training in a way that makes therapy inviting, supportive, satisfying, and in many cases fun!
My mission is to help others reach their potential and break down the barriers standing in the way. I offer both individual and family-based approaches to treatment, all depending on your unique needs, which creates a more effective therapeutic environment that promotes improved communication, coping, family relationships, and support.
My training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has provided extensive experience with families with diverse backgrounds and challenges. I am honored to continue applying my warmth, acceptance, and expertise to provide an inviting, safe, supportive, and effective therapeutic environment to all clients.
