I'm a psychologist and a psychoanalyst with over 40 years of experience. I would like to offer my training and experience to make possible your working-through the difficult situations and issues with compassion, and self-reflection. In this collaborative process you can understand yourself more deeply, address the obstacles to feeling better, and have more of what you want in relationships, work, and life. I have particular experience and success in working with individuals and couples from many different backgrounds dealing with trauma (PTSD), depression, loss, anxiety, addictions, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and especially: long-term problems.
By long term-term problems, I mean those struggles or conflicts that have plagued you for long periods of time, such as; self-denigration, a sense of meaninglessness, sexual/love issues, unrelieved depression, the fears and anxieties that interfere with your life, persistent relationship conflicts, and the unrelenting pain and suffering related to trauma.
As a psychoanalyst, I have been through years of postdoctoral training and immersion in psychoanalysis. Because of this advanced training and experience I can very effectively work with a wide range of emotional problems and psychological issues.
