I am a nationally certified DBT therapist. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is my orientation and specialty. My orientation and personal experiences have inspired me to work toward the treatment of clients struggling with childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiousness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, relationship issues, LGBTQ concerns, NSSI(Self-Injury) and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, evidence-based group therapy three days a week for adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. Available anywhere in Missouri or Illinois, it offers more support than weekly therapy while allowing you to maintain daily life at home.
I am a nationally certified hypnotherapist, which enhances DBT. Hypnotherapy explored at client request. I also provide hypnotherapy for Smoking Cessation. Clients benefit from guided imagery, grounding, anchoring and centering "client designed" to relax mind, body and spirit. Benefited clients realize "Mindfulness" of emotional states in real time. "Mindful" clients are "Comfortable in uncomfortable situations".
